Cats are feline leukemia tested, if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested.  They are placed for adoption if this test is negative.  They have had at least their first distemper combo vaccination and the booster is given if they are in our care for the appropriate time. All cats are also dewormed, treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable), and spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.  Cat adoption fees range from $5 to $60 + tax; Kitten adoption fees are $100 to $150 + tax.

Dogs are tested for heartworm (if over 6 months of age), had at least their first distemper combo vaccination and the booster is given if they are in our care for the appropriate time. All dogs are also dewormed, treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable), and spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes. Dog adoption fees range from $100 to $350 + tax; Puppy adoption fees range from $200 to $350 + tax.
