As a nonprofit organization, we rely solely on donations and adoption fees for our operating funds. It has been the support of our community that has allowed us to successfully maintain our shelter, facilitate countless adoptions, and respond to the steady call for rescues of needy animals. Whether you can donate money, time, or items, we welcome whatever you can do! Thank you! If you are able to make a monetary donation, or would like to make a donation in honor or rememberance of someone special, there are many ways to do so.  
   
  We rely on donations of items needed to operate the shelter and feed and care for the animals. Please consider making an in-kind donation from the list below.

  • Purina Kitten Chow (dry) or Nutri Source Cat & Kitten Food (dry; available for purchase in the shelter's store)

  • Trash Bags (45 gallon/2 ml)

  • 32 Ounce Spray Bottles
  • Exam Gloves (latex free, medium & large; found at Sam's Club or Costco 200/box & are used for cleaning our cats that are ill)
Office Supplies
  • Postage Stamps (.28 & .44 cent)
  • 8 1/2 X 11" White Copy Paper

  • Ziplocs (sandwich & gallon)
  • Gift Cards To: Walmart, Target, Menards, Gas Station, Office Supply Store
If you have extra time and are interested in spending it helping the cats and dogs awaiting adoption, we hope you'll consider volunteering. Donate your aluminum cans/unwanted textiles for recycling, or Bruces Foods grocery receipts and Northwoods will get a percentage back for submitting them.
