Year after year the Northwoods Humane Society works tirelessly to provide care and a second chance at a happy life for countless needy animals. Our successful efforts provide numerous long-term benefits for both the animals that we aid and for the community where we live.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely solely on donations and adoption fees for our operating funds. It has been the support of our community that has allowed us to successfully maintain our shelter, facilitate countless adoptions, and respond to the steady call for rescues of needy animals.
