Foxie
Hello to all you marvelous people!!
We are the proud parents of "Foxie", a prancing little smart-aleck that controls our house. We are so thankful that you allowed us to adopt her. The first few weeks were certainly an education. Because of her history everything had to be done so slowly. Her first check at the vet ended rather quickly, after she bit the vet two times! It's hard to believe that something so small can be so wild. We waited a few weeks and tried again, this time with Dr. Randall, whom we love. That went lots better. He recommended a good teeth cleaning and during the anesthesia they cut her nails and gave her a good brushing. Two things that we haven't been able to convince her that she likes! During that, they ended up pulling 8 teeth. As her mouth healed she began playing more and more. With the cat, no less. That same cat that hid for the first two weeks she was here. But....there is a "biggie" to report. She no longer messes in the house and actually tells us when she has to go out. We never put her in a crate (which I'm sure she appreciates, because she wouldn't even go in the room the crate was in until we put it in the basement) so she climbs in and out of bed, during the night. We got a set of doggie steps because that little phony would cry until I got out of bed and picked her up. One time she took off chasing the cat and came back and jumped up on the bed like nothing. Anyway, we're very happy and things are going great!! Thanks, again.......Marcia B.
I thought about stopping by so you could see how good she's doing, but I was afraid that she'd think I was dropping her off!!
