Gretchen

Hi,

 

Well we have Gretchen at her new home and we are really enjoying her.  She is just the best dog in every way and is so easy to care for.  Our six year old grandson and Gretchen really have a good time together each morning before he gets on the school bus.  And she has been very friendly to our family members that she meets.

 

We were surprised when she wakes us in the morning and leads us to the door and bumps the doorknob with her nose to let us know she needs to go outside.  We have made an appointment with a vet here on Tuesday to get her rabies shot.  We take her for walks on the nearby walking trail and she really enjoys that and it gives us some exercise too.

 

She is so mild and easy going she reminds of us our other German shepherd as she has the same friendly behavior.  So she is fitting very nicely into our family and we think the world of her, she will be a great companion for us.
