Miss Muffet, Kaylee and Maude

I adopted the 12 yr old Siamese Miss Muffet (renamed Missy) and the big girl Kay (her name was Kaylene or something, I can’t remember exactly).  Missy had some kind of eye infection in her right eye.   Kay was sneezing, an upper respiratory thing.  So all 5 cats were on antibiotics, my original 3 just as a preventative.  All are doing great now.   You know how cats rub against you to “mark” you with their saliva?  Well, Missy SO loves to be cuddles that she is one big saliva machine.    It look her a while not to be scared of me…especially for the 10 days when I had to put medicine in her eye.  Kay will come lay on my chest (she’s a heavy load) for a few minutes but then just goes off by herself to snooze.  The description was right….kind of lazy.  The vet that they went to is near my house (Skyline) and he really likes you guys.

My sister adopted Maude and she checked out fine at the vet.  Her kidney failure is at the early stages and other than that, she’s a healthy girl.   My sister has 3 other cats…2- 8mth old kittens and a 6yr old, Lucy, who acts like a momma cat to the kittens.   Lucy is trying to “mother” Maude who doesn’t really appreciate it.  She just moves away.
