Missy and Skittles

Hello to all of our Northwood's friends,
I wanted to update all of you on our new home. I must say the first night was not fun for me. I spent most of the night in the litter box. If I wasn't in the box, I was next to it. My new mom thought it was just a nervous tummy and I should be fine the next day. She was right. Skittles on the other hand found this really soft warm bed with a big fleece blanket on it and I don't think she moved for 2 days. Neither one of could stop purring. It has been an interesting month for us. We went from being in a small cage to this big house with lots of rooms, beds, and other places to hide. Skittles was much more brave than me, I spent a lot of time under my moms bed. A few days after getting to our home, we were greeted by 2 smaller people. They are mom's children. They were noisy and very fast. All they wanted to do was hug us and pet us. They tried hard to get us to play and would give up if we didn't come out from under the beds. Everything is great now. We wait in the kitchen for them to come in after being gone all day. We greet them by saying hello, rubbing against them, and purring. I think my mom would say we have transitioned in to our new home and we are very happy there. We have both been very good to the humans in the house. We even like visitors, who knew?/? I must say, I think Skittles and I are going to miss this big green bushy tree in the house though. It has these hanging things on it and we play with them a lot. We all hope you guys have a great New Year.. I know we will. We'll be in touch.. Take care, Missy...
