Vinnie

Dear Northwoods Humane Society -

It is with profound gratitude in my heart that I write you.  Nearly 4 months ago on a very hot summer day, I visited your kennel and adopted one very special dog, a deaf Boston Terrier named Vinnie. While I was cautious about taking him home without my fiancé's approval, I couldn't stand to be apart from him after only 5 minutes of interaction.

I am very happy to write you and let you know that Vinnie
(...subsequently named Beethoven, or 'Tove for short) has found a very loving and forever home with us.  Our other Boston Terrier JJ is so happy to have a brother and playmate, and our home would not be the same without him.  He truly did complete our little canine family.

Thank you so much for helping abandoned and homeless animals like
Beethoven.  It breaks my heart to think of where he would be if it weren't for your facility.  Your profession is one of selflessness and intrinsic compassion, something that few people will ever obtain.  We are so grateful for your services.
